Description
Fully furnished and functional detached studio-style house on a plot with a large garden. On one side (right–northwest), it adjoins another house (with no gap in between).
Built in 1981, it has since been legalized and registered in the Land Registry. Every document is available, including the deed of inheritance acceptance registration (which usually takes ages to issue).
The house was built with a lot of handmade work and passion by the first owners, who created many constructions using natural materials from the area. They were always connected to the arts, such as music and painting, which is why the interior includes a piano, a guitar, and various paintings made by the owner herself.
The house was fully renovated in the summer of 2020 in every important/structural aspect.
Exterior works:
The concrete slab was scraped to remove every weak element
Brickwork with mesh was added around the edges for reinforcement and to contain the insulation
Gutters were installed for safe rainwater drainage
Waterproofing was done (written guarantee valid until 2035)
Thermal insulation with top-quality materials was applied
The entire building was painted with silicone-based paint, including the built-in BBQ and the wood-fired oven
Automatic irrigation system installed
New electrical installation in the outdoor area with high-quality and safe materials (lighting, switches, sockets)
Interior works:
All weak ceiling elements from moisture, especially around the slab’s rebars, were demolished
Anti-corrosion inhibitor applied to the rebars
Reinforced fiber cement applied
Reinforcing plaster applied
Spot filling where necessary (not spatula-finished)
Proper priming
High-quality air conditioner installed with a 10-year guarantee
Dehumidifier installed
New extractor hood installed
The entire house is painted with detailed finishing (for those who know!)
New furniture, mattresses, kitchenware, and household items purchased
7 kg washing machine purchased
Existing retro furniture maintained to preserve both beauty and practicality
Interior decorated to highlight the authentic/traditional character already present
Deep cleaning carried out with attention to detail in hard-to-reach spots
…and much more, bringing the house to an excellent condition for its future residents.
For every single task, detailed information on the materials used and the way the work was carried out is available, since the owner supervised and also worked directly on the renovation.
The house has a yard with a lush garden and large trees (e.g., a huge carob tree), providing shade and coolness even during the hottest summer days. In the yard, there is also a built-in BBQ and wood-fired oven, which have been used for years to make delicious meals.
The view from the house is beautiful, looking both at the Aegean Sea (towards Kea) and the mountains, offering variety. From the rooftop terrace, the view is even more impressive, focusing mainly on the sea.
The house is sold with everything included. This means not just “furnished,” but fully equipped, so the new owner won’t need to bring anything except clothes, while enjoying unique amenities. This is because for 3 years the property was available as a short-term rental, receiving about 50 glowing reviews.
Regarding short-term rentals, the new owner may continue doing so if desired, since it has already been successfully operated since 2020. Guests (from around 14 different countries) left not just 5-star ratings but long, enthusiastic reviews, saying their stay was one of the best worldwide in terms of amenities, quality of materials, views, and connection with nature—all this just 20 minutes from the airport.
